Corvette Museum

Stopped this afternoon to visit the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY. Lots is beautiful cars to see. It's a self guided tour with lots of info about how the car is incredible.. and more.  What was interesting was the area showing the hole that opened up under the dome. They built a simulation that you stand in and experience the rock, and dirt falling in the enormous sink hole.  The next exhibit is the remains of some of the cars and the few that were salvaged. There is a glass viewing spot in the floor that shows you how deep the sink hole was, WOW.
Pictures were not allowed in the museum.
We are now camped in Nashville. Tomorrow we head to the Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's home. We had tried to do this about 3 years ago but had been interrupted in our visit by tornado activity.
We have had some pretty serious thunderstorm activity the past few days, but weather should be good here for the next few days.

Woodrow Wilson

Left DC area yesterday morning. Spent the night near Staunton VA,the birth place of Woodrow Wilson. Red brick house was were he was born. The Pierce Arrow was his.
Poster was in the WWI area of Wilson museum. No photos in house. The town loves him,so a totally myopic view of his life.
Beautiful homes in the area.
Fred now suffering with kidney stone. Still heading to Corbin Kentucky for next fe days but may head home right after that.
